Cultural and Historical Virtual Costumes Try-Out Experience
Augmented Reality (AR)
Augmented Reality is the visual technology of blending of interactive digital elements – like visual overlays, haptic feedback, or other sensory projections – into our real-world environments. Digital screens, such as smartphones, tablets, and TV screens are used to reveal the digital information and place it in real-life environments.
Virtual Historical Costumes
The Interactive Augmented Reality Mirror at Musa Afandi Interpretation Center uses this technology to provide its visitors with a unique and fun experience. Visitors of the center can see themselves in Palestinian traditional or historical costumes and outfits. On the side of the mirror various costumes from different Palestinian eras are shown from which the visitors can choose. Two catogries for female and male costumes can be selected. All costumes and outfits will be 3D designed and modeled according to actual designs with historical facts and records to ensure historical accuracy and genuine Palestinian narrative.
Share The Expeience
Visitors of Musa Afandi Interpretation Center can interact with the mirror through gesture and can capture photos in their virtual costumes and save them or share them on social media platforms.
